The visitors had the chance to observe the work of 8\ntedders (produced by Talex, Kuhn, Fendt, SIP, Pronar, Samasz, New Holland and\nKrone). The best solutions related to the construction of tedders were safety\ndevices protecting against grass clogging, wheels adjustments which makes it\npossible for the machine to work at the meadow edges, HLC carousel lifting\nsystem and convenient tedding regulation. Particular attention was also given\nto perfect ground hugging. After demonstrating the work of each tedder, smooth\nrunning of rake took place. The rake did not participate directly in the show,\nbut this element allowed for better organisation of further presentations. Each\nday, representatives of selected companies presented ways of adjusting the\nsettings of the tedders offered by them, so that farmers could easily match\nthem to the conditions prevailing in individual fields. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fifteen round balers were demonstrated during the\nshow, both fixed chamber balers and variable chamber balers (produced by Krone,\nFendt, John Deere, KVERNELAND, Maschio-Gaspardo, McHale New Holland, Class,\nKuhn, Pottinger and Mascar). The innovative solutions of presented machines\nincluded: system of variable bale geometry, net wrapping system, which allows\ncontinuous control of net tension and the possibility of wrapping the bale with\nfoil by a fixed chamber round baler. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The operation of 6 round baler-wrapper combinations\nwas demonstrated during the show (produced by Krone, G\u04e6WEIL, McHale, Kuhn and\nKubota with Samasz). In the case of these machines, the visitors\u2019 attention was\nfocused on the functions of wrapping the bale with a few layers of foil in the\nbale chamber, which eliminates the need for the net (this option is also\navailable by the operator\u2019s setting adjustments), new bale handling systems,\nmodern roller of bale unloading and Integral Rotor Technology. The drive of the\ntractor with round baler-wrapper combinations and a front mounted basket rake\nattracted considerable interest of the visitors. This solution leads to fewer\ntrips across the fields and the time allocated for harvesting forage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The visitors could also see the work of 4 wrappers\n(produced by G\u04e6WEIL, McHale, Pronar and Unia). The work of remote-controlled\nstationary machinery with radio remote control was presented. This machine is\nequipped with an independent hydraulic system so that it does not have to be\nconnected to the tractor. The technological solutions in self-loading wrappers\ninclude, among others: patented system of bales loading, roller of their\nunloading, film break sensors, Pilot Wrap controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The operation of 5 silage loader wagons was\ndemonstrated during the show (produced by Class, Pottinger, Krone, Fendt and\nStrautmann). The most impressive technological solutions in these machines\ninclude: easy removal of the pick-up, hydraulically inclined front wall, which\nis used for pre-pressing the material in the initial phase of harvesting and\nfacilitates unloading of the full trailer, connection of pick-up, CFS rollers,\nrotor and the cutting unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the show, the work of 2 forage harvesters was\npresented (produced by Krone and Class). Noteworthy functions of these machines\ninclude: tilting drum bed, outlet channel for high throughput, automatic\nrecognition of the degree of maturity of maize and adjusting cutting lengths,\nequipping the forage harvester with a camera mounted on an ejection tunnel\nmonitoring the trailer next to it and equipping the forage harvester with a\nsilage feeder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The visitors could also admire the operation of 2\ncultivating and sowing aggregates (produced by Agro-Masz and APV). The tasks of\nthe moving elements of these machines were: raking grass, removing moss, other\nresidues and irregularities, weeding and aeration of turf. Immediately sown in\nthe open soil, the seeds were pressed by the rollers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Machinery which participated in the show was reported\nby their producers or regional representatives. Chmielewski Sp.J.,\nMaschio-Gaspardo, MASZYNY ROLNICZE\nMARIUSZ ZDUNEK, AGRO-MASZ Pawe\u0142 Nowak, \nAGROBARD and APV POLSKA. After the demonstrations, the visitors could\ntake a closer look at individual machines in specially prepared boxes and obtain\ndetailed information from company representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Such a large range of presented facilities was a great\nlogistics challenge for the organisers related to planning the appropriate\nspace for all the presented machinery. \nThe total surface area allocated for the organisation of the event was\nalmost 13 000 m2<\/sup>. Sunny weather was another factor encouraging the\nvisitors to attend the exhibition. However, it is worth noting that high\nrainfall in May had caused lush greenery with a high level of humidity to grow\nin the meadows being the place of the machinery show.
