Changeable weather, especially in the week preceding the exhibition in\nthe south of Poland, fortunately did not spoil the organiser\u2019s plans and the\nevent took place as intended. The sun was shining brightly on Saturday and\nSunday, which guaranteed convenient conditions for exhibitors and visitors who,\nas usual, numerously attended the exhibition. As estimated by the organiser,\nthis edition was visited by around 40 thousand people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Year after year, we can observe that the exhibition in U\u0142\u0119\u017c is becoming\nincreasingly well-known and recognised by farmers and entrepreneurs operating\nin the agricultural sector in this area. As a result of our efforts and the\nexhibition\u2019s promotion in the recent years, we have managed to reach farmers\nand convince them to visit the Green AGRO SHOW. This can be confirmed by the\nfact that this year\u2019s event was record-breaking in many aspects. There were\nnearly 150 exhibitors on the area about 2000m2<\/sup> bigger than a year\nearlier, that is around 13 000m2. An impressive total of 56 machines took part in\nthe exhibition.<\/em> This was a historic\nrecord! \u2018<\/em>This year, we had to carefully calculate that the area for planned\nshows would be sufficient for all participants,\u2019 said Micha\u0142 Spaczy\u0144ski, Deputy\nPresident of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Agricultural Machines and\nFacilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, the programme of machinery shows was very rich this year. Green\nAGRO SHOW is the place where the biggest presentations of hay handling\nequipment are held. This is an excellent opportunity for farmers – cattle\nfarmers and milk producers to see such a wide range of machinery working in the\nsame field conditions at one place and time. The following machinery was\ndemonstrated: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 cultivating and sowing aggregates<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15 round balers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 round baler-wrapper combinations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 wrappers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 silage loader wagons<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 forage harvesters<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Demonstrations were divided into two parts: The first one, at 11 o\u2019clock\nincluded a presentation of mowers, tedders, forage harvesters and silage loader\nwagons, the second part, at 1 o\u2019clock included presentation of round balers,\nround baller-wrapper combinations and cultivating and sowing aggregates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s novelty was the opportunity to a more detailed view of the\nmachines directly after the shows. There, at special stands for demonstration\nmachines, representatives of producers and dealers answered detailed questions\nof farmers and demonstrated technical data of the presented equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, during the break between shows, the setting of the\nselected tedder was presented, which was also highly popular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the exhibition, there was also a special attraction for younger\nparticipants and enthusiasts of recording and publishing videos on YouTube. Another\nedition of the \u2018Zr\u00f3b Show na AGRO SHOW\u2019 competition was especially dedicated to\nthem. The effects of the work of young operators will soon be available on the\ndedicated competition website and, of course, on YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Our assumption is that Green AGRO SHOW should not only be an exhibition\nin the traditional sense, but a place where we can share the knowledge in a\npractical way. Therefore, this year, we changed the way of the machinery\npresentation and for the first time the shows were conducted by two rapporteurs\nwho were able to run the show efficiently and professionally. Based on the farmers\u2019\nreactions and comments we can consider this edition of the exhibition as\nsuccessful.\u2019 <\/em>– summarises Micha\u0142\nSpaczy\u0144ski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The honorary patronage of the exhibition was taken by Jan Krzysztof\nArdanowski, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and media\npatronage held by TVP1.
