130 thousand persons appeared this year in Bednary, to visit exhibition stands with the area of more than 130 thousand m2<\/sup> and get familiar with the latest offer of companies in agricultural discipline. These numbers confirm that AGRO SHOW is the largest open-air agricultural exhibition in Europe and a real feast in the field!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not surprising that AGRO\nSHOW is the event that is most awaited every year. A lot of companies plan the\npremiere of their new products during this show and everybody presents their\nbest products on AGRO SHOW. Direct contact of entrepreneurs with potential\ncustomers not only allows for presentation of advantages of their products, but\nit also gives insight in market expectations. The organiser made all efforts to\nensure the most attractive form and surroundings for the exchange of\ninformation between the supply and demand side of the market. First of all,\nattention was paid to a rich portfolio of the exhibition. Owing to this, the visitors\nhad a chance to familiarise with an offer of companies from every sector of the\nagricultural industry: starting from manufacturers of agricultural machines, through\nthe enterprises of agricultural chemical sector, up to the financial companies\nspecialising in servicing of agricultural sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\nbecome the hallmark of AGRO SHOW are the demonstrations of machines at work,\nduring which the visitors could see with their own eyes the possibilities\noffered by exhibited equipment. The show organiser strives to ensure such\nconditions for presentation of machines at work that most closely resemble\nthose in the field and also to ensure a professional comment for demonstrations.\nLive shows of machines have been the most awaited and effective element of the\nshow for years. Such a form of presentation is very valuable for farmers, since\nthey can compare technical performance of presented machines and devices, and\nalso talk directly to their manufacturers and dealers. This year the visitors\nhad a chance to watch the show from comfortable stands that were filled to the\nvery last seat. Two blocks of the demonstration took place. In the first one,\nprecision farming was presented, using sprayers as its example. 11 machines\ntook part in the show. The second block was dedicated to cultivation technique\nin a simplified system, with 9 sets participating in this part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the\nfirst time, the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Agricultural Machines and\nFacilities invited dealer companies to AGRO SHOW, to participate in the Forum\nfor Agricultural Machine Dealers organised on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentation\nwas made by the Secretary General of the European association of agricultural\nmachinery dealerships CLIMMAR, Mr. Jelle Bertlema. Micha\u0142 Spaczy\u0144ski, Managing\nDirector of PIGMiUR also took the floor during the Forum, to present the\norganisation. Forum participants also had a chance to listen to the discussion\npanel \u201cImpact of agricultural policy of the European Union on the condition of agricultural\nmachine dealers. Assumptions of common agricultural policy for the next budget\nperiod\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ndiscussion moderated by Bart\u0142omiej Mayer had the following participants: Jelle\nBertlema \u2013 secretary of the organisation CLIMMAR, Dr hab. Wawrzyniec Czubak from\nthe Economic and Social Faculty of the Department of Economics and Economic\nPolicy in Agro-business of Poznan University of Life Sciences (Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy w Poznaniu<\/em>),\nMariusz L\u0119gowski \u2013 representative of the Directorate-General for Agriculture\nand Rural Development in the European Commission and J\u00f3zef Dworakowski \u2013 the President\nof PIGMiUR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many years PIGMiUR has laid significant emphasis on education and wide-spreading\nof the specialist knowledge in the field. During AGRO SHOW 2019 finals were\nheld of the all-Poland competitions organised by the Chamber: \u201cMedal-worthy\nMechanic\u201d and \u201cMedal-worthy Young Mechanic\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\nMedal-worthy Mechanic \u2013 the 8th<\/sup>\nedition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\ncompetition was aimed for persons at least 18 years old, employed basing on a\ncontract of employment in an agricultural machinery service plant, performing\nworks connected with repairing agricultural machines, as well as an\nentrepreneur managing an agricultural machinery service plant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 mechanics have competed against one another in the final round,\nevaluated as the best ones during the on-line elimination stage. They competed\nface to face during the practical stage. The theoretical finals took place in\nBednary during the AGRO SHOW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medal-worthy Young Mechanic<\/strong> \u2013 the 7th<\/sup> Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This competition is addressed at students of agricultural schools who\nwish to develop their interests and skills in the scope of technical servicing\nof agricultural machines. The young mechanics from schools from all over Poland\nwere confronted with practical tasks and a series of theoretical questions. The\nstudents willing to participate in the competition fought for attractive awards. In addition,\nawards were also granted to the schools whose students won the first, second or\nthird place in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are the winners of the 5th<\/sup> edition of the competition \u201cMedal-worthy Young\nMechanic\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I place \u2013 Piotr Bryszak \u2013 ZSP in Pozna\u0144<\/p>\n\n\n\n

II place \u2013 Mi\u0142osz Augustyn \u2013 ZS No. 2\nRypin<\/p>\n\n\n\n

III place \u2013 Marek Wi\u0119cek \u2013 ZSP No. 1 in\nGniezno<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, the competitors also fought for participation in the European\ncompetition of professional skills Euroskills 2020. This competition will be\nheld in Graz in Austria, and one of the winners of our competition will be the\nfirst representative from Poland in the competition for mechanics and service\ntechnicians of agricultural machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditionally, one could also participate in the competition \u201cMake Show\non Agro Show\u201d organised on the area of the exhibition. We look forward to see\nthe works of YouTubers. They will be available soon on as19.agroshow.pl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nexhibition was also an occasion to promote the book Agrotronic systems (\u201cSystemy agrotroniczne\u201d),<\/em> published by the Polish Chamber of Commerce\nof Agricultural Machines and Facilities. It was received with great\ninterest. The book was obtained by editorial offices accredited for our show,\nby the dealers who participated in the Forum for Dealers and by the finalists of\nthe competitions organised by the Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conferences\nand seminars were held during the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nfirst one, held on Saturday entitled \u201cAgri-production farm in harmony with\nnature and environment\u201d was organised by the Foundation for Sustainable Development\n(Fundacja na Rzecz Zr\u00f3wnowa\u017conego Rozwoju<\/em>), and the\nother one was the conference of the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection (Pa\u0144stwowa Inspekcja Ochrony Ro\u015blin i\nNasiennictwa<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On\nSunday a very interesting subject \u201cInnovation in agriculture here and now\u201d was\npresented by the Research Network \u0141ukasiewicz Industrial Institute of\nAgricultural Machinery (Przemys\u0142owy Instytut Maszyn\nRolniczych Sie\u0107 Badawcza \u0141ukasiewicz<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During AGRO SHOW 2019 on the area of the Exhibition the Polish\nTelevision installed its special studio, where the agricultural programme \u201cTydzie\u0144\u201d\nwas shot. Among others, the representatives of PIGMiUR took part in the\nprogramme, informing on organisation of Exhibitions and attractions that wait\nfor farmers in Poland. The ready programme was broadcast on Sunday, 22 September\nat 8:00, on the channel TVP 1 \u2013 the media sponsor of the Exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AGRO SHOW IN NUMBERS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– This year\u2019s AGRO SHOW had almost 730 companies as exhibitors,\nincluding almost 110 foreign\nexhibitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– During 4 days the Show was visited by more than 130 thousand persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The exhibition space exceeded 130 thousand m2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
